You can access a complete list of your archived articles. From the article list, you can browse, search, oradd a filterto find a specific article.
You can also restore an article from your archived list if you want to make it available again in your knowledge base.
You must be a Guide admin to view and restore archived articles. For information about archiving an article, seeArchiving an article to remove it from your knowledge base.
Viewing the archived articles list
You can access a complete list of your archived articles. An archived article remains in your list unless youdeleteit.

To view a list of archived articles
- In Guide admin, click theManage articles() icon in the sidebar.

- At the bottom of the tab, clickArchived.
A list of your archived articles appears. If the user who archived the article has been removed from the account, theArchived byfield will be blank. To identify the user who archived the article, contactZendesk Customer Support.
Restoring an archived article
You can restore an archived article if you want to make it available again in your knowledge base. You cannot disable the ability to restore articles. If you need to restore multiple articles at once, seeUpdating knowledge base articles in bulk.
You must be a Guide admin to restore archived articles.
To restore an archived article
- In Guide admin, click theManage articles() icon in the sidebar.

- At the bottom of the tab, clickArchived.
A list of your archived articles appears.
- Find and select an archived article from your list.
- In the archived article, clickRestore.
The article is restored as a draft or work in progress (depending on your plan type), in the section where it was previously published. If the section no longer exists, you are prompted to select a new section.
When you restore an article, theManaged byfield defaults toAdmins. If necessary, update the management permissions.
- When you are ready to publish the article, click the drop-down arrow on the Save button, then selectPublish now.

+1 for managing archived articles from the API.

Would also support the ability to delete an archived article. Would it be possible to have a specific section_ID to represent the archival? Seems like that could be a streamlined way to manage along with the other existing articles
