Why does the wordemptyappear below a section or category in my help center? How can I remove it?

Answer

The wordemptyappears when no articles have been added to the section or category.

For accounts usingsubsections,the wordemptyappears when one of the conditions below exists:

• A section contains subsections without articles.
• All articles in that section are only contained within other subsections.

To removeemptyfrom a section or category remove the text in the code by following the below instructions.

Before you make changes to your live theme, you shouldmake a copy of itand update the copied version.

To remove empty from your template

1. In Guide, select the theme you want to edit.
2. SelectCustomizeto open.
3. ClickEdit code.
4. Selectsection_page.hbsand find the following code:
   

   {{else}}
   
   {{t 'empty'}}
   
   {{/if}}

5. Remove the wordemptyleaving the two straight apostrophes''intact with no space between them.

   {{else}}
   
   {{t ''}}
   
   {{/if}}

6. Saveand publish.

As an alternative solution selectstyle.csspage and add the following rule:
