In this Explore recipe, you’ll learn how to you’ll learn how to report on the amount of business that each of your sales reps has brought in for the current year. This information helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your sales team.

Creating the report
- In Explore, click the reports () icon.
- In the Reports library, clickNew report.
- On theSelect a datasetpage, clickSell>Sell - Sales,然后单击Start report. The report builder opens.
- In theMetricspanel, clickAdd.
- From the list, selectWon deal value,change the aggregatorto AVG, and then clickApply.
- In theColumnspanel, clickAdd.
- From the list, selectDeal owner, and then clickApply.
- To change the report to a column chart, clickVisualization type() and selectColumn.
- To filter the report to just this year, clickAddnext toFilters(to the right of theMetricspanel), selectTime - Deal closed - Yearand set it to the current year. For help with filtering, seeWorking with report filters.
- To adjust the date labels so that you can see them more clearly, clickChart configuration() and selectX axis, then changeLabel rotationto45.
- To show the total for each column, clickChart configuration() and selectDisplayed values.
Next toShow value, selectShow. - To sort the columns from most revenue to least, go toResult manipulation(), clickSort, and selectValue descending.
Tip:You can format theWon deal valuemetric to include currency symbols and decimal places. Go toChart configuration() and selectDisplay format. Next toSUM(Won deal value), select$,€,Finance, orCustom, depending on how you want to format the values above each column.
