WithTeam Publishing, you can create a work in progress version of an existing, live article, and stage changes to publish later. You can submit your content changes for review if you want to collaborate with team members or get approval. If you are working on new content for review, seeCreating new content for review.
Agents can create work in progress versions if they havemanagement permissions.
- Do one of the following to start editing the article:
- In the article assignment email notification, clickOpen article.
- Navigate to a published article, then click编辑in the top menu bar.
- Make any necessary updates to the article body.
- ClickSaveto save your changes as you go.
When you save changes, a work in progress version is created. Your changes do not affect the publish version of the article until you p publish the staged version.
Be sure to note the URL for your staged content. If you'renota Guide admin, you'll need the URL to get back to the staged version of the article. If you're a Guide admin you canview a list of all work in progress content.
- If you want to preview the staged article, clickPreviewin the right panel.
The preview link expires after one hour. The preview can be viewed by anyone who has the link.
- When you are ready to send your article for review, click the drop-down arrow on the Save button, then selectSubmit for review.
- If you like, you can assign the article to a specific user for review, seeAssigning or reassigning articles with Team Publishing.

Thanks Brett and Devan - I've updated the article accordingly :)
Any options to bring drafts to pre-published articles back to other plans?
We don't need a full approval workflow but just basic editing without having to publish immediately, i.e. splitting Save from Publish.
Another comment here for just having drafts available on published articles. It's a real limitation for me that I can't start some changes and save as I go (just so I don't lose my work), without publishing it to everyone on every save.
Now sure how this isn't an option for other plans.
