- The ticket is deleted and moved to the删除门票view for 30 days until it is permanently deleted.
- The ticket requester is suspended and cannot submit or access tickets, or access your Help Center.
A ticket must be active (not Closed) to mark it as spam.
To recover a deleted ticket, you can restore it from the删除门票view (seeRestoring a deleted ticket) , and unsuspend the user (seeSuspending a user). Any further tickets that the suspended user submits are added to theSuspended ticketsview where you can review them (seeUnderstanding and managing suspended tickets and spam).
You can also mark multiple tickets as spam at the same time. SeeBulk marking tickets as spam and suspending the requesters.
You can't mark tickets as spam if the ticket is associated with a user who was shared to your account.
To mark a ticket as spam and suspend the requester:
- Open the ticket you want to mark as spam.
- Click the Ticket options menu in the upper right, then selectMark as spam.
You will only see this option on tickets where the requester is an end-user.
- ClickImmediately mark as spamto confirm that you want to continue.
The ticket will be deleted and cannot be recovered. The requester will be suspended. Alternatively you can clickCancel.
Reporting on tickets marked as spam
You can't run report on spam tickets. Additionally, some companies may not want to use the Mark as spam feature, for example, regulated companies.
As a workaround, you can have your agents add a tag that indicates the ticket is spam before clickingMark as spam. You can then use that information to generate reports on tags. For more information, seeReporting with tags (Explore)andReporting on ticket tags (Insights).
To report on tickets marked as spam
- 创建一个custom ticket field被称为Spam(or whatever you choose to call the custom field) to check tickets that are considered to be spam.
- 创建一个宏that automatically checks the fieldSpam然后路线ce的门票rtain group or agent.
- Train your agents to use this macro when they spot spam tickets.
- Once a week or a month, have an agent or a group of agents checking the queue to ensure no tickets are categorized incorrectly.
You can then use the custom ticket field to run reports on these tickets.

Hey Kyren,
You'd want to navigate to the ticket requesters profile and unsuspend the profile so these tickets no longer get sent to the suspended tickets view. More information here:Suspending a user
Let me know if you run into any issues locating this option!
How about how does a user mark a ticket as spam? I am getting a ton from one, but there is no way to open the ticket. The only option is "To add additional comments, reply to this email."
Since "This ticket was created on your behalf." there is no way to contact Zendesk or block them.
I guess the solution will be to just mark all of the ~ half dozen so far as spam and let ZenDesk deal with it.
我希望你是doing very well.
I understand that you are receiving a lot of SPAM from a Zendesk Account.
I have checked this internally, and it seems that we have processed your SPAM request successfully.
Please, let me know if you are still experiencing the issue.
Sincerely,
We will get spam phone calls from time to time and I have marked these tickets as spam. Is there a reason why these phone numbers are still allowed to call? A popup will show in Zendesk, after I pick up the call, saying how a suspended user cannot create tickets, but this did not block them from calling.
Thanks for clarifying Ahn!
Is there a way to mark tickets as "not spam"? For example, Zendesk flags out of office replies as spam and moves them automatically to suspended tickets. We would like to keep these out of office replies to keep our staff informed as part of our workflows.
